The best part of my Nourish experience would have to be the relationships that I have been able to develop with my assigned therapists. It has been so important to my journey to be able to be heard, to be seen, and to be held accountable throughout. Therapy has been one of the most difficult things I've been through, just in having to be honest and vulnerable while digging up past pain, but it has also been one of the most rewarding. I would not be able to say that if I didn't trust and value my therapists.
When I first started seeing my Nourish therapist I was carrying around a lot of "baggage". They have helped me to sit with my feelings and process a lot of things that I needed to work through. Therapy has helped me identify and work on which things are mine to carry forward and which things I can let go of. I am being a lot kinder to myself and I am definitely in a better mental place than when I first started with her.
My Nourish therapist is amazing. I have started working with her about a month and a half ago, and could not ask for anything more! I was looking at the time for someone who really knows what they are doing, and has experiences with eating disorders. I have been searching for months due to that I have came out of higher levels of care about a year ago, and could not find anybody that took their job seriously or cared. Nourish, has begun to help me heal in ways I knew I never needed and needed as well. She cares a lot about her clients and their overall well-being.
They really seem like they want to help us and follow through! Always! Offices smell great and are clean, relaxing, calming and welcoming! The water, the lotions, the sound machines, the rooms all look and smell perfect for an atmosphere of necessary calming and openness to a more challenging conversation.
My 8 year old son genuinely looks forward to his weekly sessions with Nourish therapist. He enjoys playing games while talking about his worries and anything else on his mind. He immediately felt a connection from the first appointment and asked to stay longer. I am a huge supporter of therapy and I am thankful to have Nourish as a fantastic local resource for my son.
It enhances problem-solving in the family and teaches our daughter to be strong in mind and spirit and not just body. The value to our daughter of having an additional, outside ear to listen and provide valuable guidance can't be understated.
I do like that Nourish has in-person therapy. Finding someone to schedule in-person sessions with was very difficult when I was looking for a therapist in today's age of virtual everything. I love the ability to schedule weekends. With a busy 6-day work schedule, Sundays is one of the only days I can do therapy. I feel very welcome and comfortable whenever I go into therapy.
Nourish is different from other providers because the environment is home-like, calm even down to the fish, white noise, and tv screen in the entrance area. It does not feel like a sterile doctor's office.
While my daughter has only been to three sessions, she always leaves smiling and she looks forward to returning. My daughter was not able to open up but now we are able to continue conversation about topics discussed during therapy on the car ride home. Though not the reason we originally started therapy, I feel like seeing a therapist has brought my daughter and I closer together. I am so thankful for Nourish.
Working with my therapist to get to the root of my body dysmorphia and body image issues has helped me begin to find strength within myself to see food a little differently and learn how to reframe the causes of my bad eating habits and routines. She has suggested we explore a new therapy treatment that could help with trauma as well. My therapist is a good listener and provides tools for me to put into practice.
My Nourish therapist does not just let me talk and then offer “blanket” suggestions. Also, she does not automatically agree with me but will challenge me in a good way. We are working through a book she recommended together which has been helpful. I think what makes a difference is how you relate to your therapist. I told her I don’t know if this sounds weird, but I look forward to our therapy sessions. She has helped me work through a situation at work and is helping me with family issues.
From the very first session, there was a connection between my therapist and I. She was quick to laugh, smile, and talk to me like she had known me forever. She walked me through the process of therapy and has done everything in her power to help guide me in the journey. Nourish has been amazing in helping me learn to manage stress and live comfortably. Life is too short to struggle alone in silence. I am forever thankful to the therapists at Nourish for allowing me the safe space to process my personal struggles while simultaneously giving me the tools to move forward in stronger, healthier directions.
I wouldn't have had that experience had I not made that initial inquiry. It's just a call.

No, they don’t need to be “good at art.” 🎨
If your tween could use a space that isn’t another lecture about feelings, we built this group for exactly that.

Curious about Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)? Here are a few things we get asked most. 💜
❓ What is ART?
A fast-acting, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories, often bringing relief in far fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy.
❓ How is it different from talk therapy?
ART works with eye movements and imagery to help resolve trauma on a subconscious level, so you don’t have to relive every detail out loud to heal.
❓ How many sessions will I need?
Many clients notice meaningful shifts in just 1-5 sessions, though this varies person to person.
❓ Is ART right for me?
If anxiety, trauma, phobias, or difficult memories are getting in the way of your life, ART may be worth exploring.
Reach out and we can talk it through together.

Seasonal Affective Disorder isn’t just a winter thing. 🌞
For some people, summer brings its own version of SAD: overstimulation, disrupted routines, and pressure to be “on” and outside and happy all the time. It’s not a choice, and it’s not something to push through with sheer will.
If any of these hit close to home, you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. Save this for the next time summer feels like more than you can handle, and remember: just because you might be thriving right now doesn’t mean everyone around you is too.
If this has been weighing on you, we’re here. Link in bio to schedule a consultation.
